Magadan Region says gold output rises by 6% to 49 tns in 2020

MAGADAN, Jan 20 (PRIME) -- The combined gold production of companies in Russia’s Magadan Region rose by 6.01% to 49.143 tonnes in 2020, the regional government said in a statement on Wednesday.

Output of lode gold rose by 8.64% to 30.363 tonnes and of alluvial gold by 2.02% to 18.78 tonnes.

Silver output fell by 13.48% to 572.485 tonnes.

In 2019, the region’s gold output grew by 25.4% tonnes to 46.356 tonnes.
